Condition Guide

Every listing on PokéLinker uses these six grades. They run best to worst. When in doubt, grade conservatively — accurate conditions build trust and reviews.

NM
Near Mint (NM)

Near Mint — Looks freshly pulled. At most a couple of tiny flaws such as a faint edge nick or minor surface scratch only visible under direct light. No whitening, creases, or scuffing.

VLP
Very Lightly Played (VLP)

Very Lightly Played — Minimal wear on close inspection: light edge whitening or a small surface scratch, but still very clean and display-worthy.

LP
Lightly Played (LP)

Lightly Played — Noticeable but minor wear: moderate edge whitening, light scratching, or slight surface wear. No major creases or bends.

MP
Moderately Played (MP)

Moderately Played — Clear wear: whitening on edges/corners, scratches, light scuffing, and possibly a minor crease or print line. Structurally sound.

HP
Heavily Played (HP)

Heavily Played — Significant wear: heavy whitening, creasing, scuffing, water/edge damage or a bend. Still a complete, intact card.

D
Damaged (D)

Damaged — Severe issues: tears, heavy creasing, water damage, writing, holes, or major bends. Sold as-is.

Grades are guidelines, not a formal certification. Photos and seller notes always take precedence — ask the seller if you need detail before buying.
